My practise focuses on people – I help them launch their families, make sure they and the people they love are taken care of, and guide them through the practicalities of being the executor of the estate of a loved one who has died.

I have practised law for more than 16 years, including over 13 years focusing on wills, estates and over 9 years in fertility and parentage law. I started my legal career at a national law firm in Toronto, where I practised law for two and a half years before taking time to pursue an interest in counseling. In 2006, I moved back to British Columbia and joined a Victoria law firm specializing in wills, estates and family law. After my daughter was born, I returned to Vancouver and joined a boutique law firm specializing in wills, estates and family law, before launching my solo law practice at the end of 2012 and adding fertility and parentage law to my practice. My philosophy is to take the overwhelming out of law and give my clients the sense of satisfaction that comes with knowing they have taken care of important tasks on life’s to-do list.
